To sit along side my artwork I always wanted to create products that make print more accessible.
Greeting cards were an obvious choice and the choice to make these with sustainability in mind was also very easy.
Each card is hand screenprinted onto 300gsm matte white card with matching envelope, these are FSC certified, meaning materials used have been ethically sourced from sustainable forests. They come in a self-seal compostable bag, that's made in the UK and is vegan friendly and biodegradable. I also stamp my details on the back using a rubber eco-friendly stamp made in the UK.
Thinking about sustainability also led me to make my mini collages and my newest product, my wee wooden hooses. To reduce waste and ultimately make use of my mountain of test and imperfect prints, I've created small original artworks from my print work, each one being an individual in there own right.
